- Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2024Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseMy baby is quapa. It saddens me to think that our Filipino heritage might be lost in future generations. I bought this book to help keep our culture alive. It’s a cute book with colorful illustrations.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2021Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseReceived on time. This gift for my infant god son will be great! I only wish it comes in a hard cover option, but other than that, it's nice with vivid graphics and colors, which little babies/kids will like (I was a nanny). They'll learn along with english speaking parents as well.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2023Format: PaperbackVerified PurchaseI've had this book for several months, and my 14 month old now loves this book (reading it 3x/day). The bold colors are attractive to him, and he does learn some useful words. So, it gets 2 stars for those points. Unfortunately, the book overall is lacking:
- It's VERY short for the price because of the formatting. One word per page, and you get 29 words total to learn. I thought it would have more words per page, and I wish Amazon could show a preview. I wouldn't have bought it otherwise.
- Many of words seem odd for a baby/toddler to learn or too general. Brick? Pomegranate? Pagkain? Prutas? As such a short book, word choice could've been better. What about words for food they actually can eat, like rice, or the word for people in their life like dad and grandparents?
- Minor issues: some of the drawings are too abstract (i.e. teeth, nose), and then realistic pictures are also included (kind of jarring); the pages are thin, so my kid has damaged every page at this point. It would've been nice if the pages were at least all card stock like the cover.
Overall, this book should've either included more words per page or kept the vocabulary more focused to make it worth purchasing. I'd like my son (and myself) to learn Tagalog, but I think I can find better.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 9, 2022Format: KindleVerified PurchaseWould not recommend this book at all. Tagalog words with English meaning with pictures that barely correspond with the words. Also, words are not spelled out phonetically so unless you actually already know the word, you don’t know if you’re pronouncing it correctly.

- I truly wish that delivery was made toy front door & not the gate next door. I am disabled & this is the second time that items have been delivered to the wrong spot. I am searching around in the rain in the dark on my walking frame looking for a missing package. This is truly bad management Amazon!Reviewed in Australia on April 25, 2025
